Meet the Team
Founder
Ash Keenan
Ash Keenan is a 2022 graduate of Gannon University with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, where she earned the prestigious Academic Excellence in Public Relations award. She previously worked full-time as the Marketing and Events Coordinator at Knox Law, managing impactful initiatives and collaborating with professionals worldwide. She currently serves as the Marketing Director for FODIS. Her notable achievements include bringing the Navy Band to Erie, executing a successful rebrand of Art's Bakery, and much more. As the founder and sole director of AKPR, Ash uses her expertise to help businesses craft their image and achieve their goals. She leads all agency operations, designing custom content and managing client relationships with a hands-on approach.
Senior Account Executive
Anna Malesiewski
Anna is a 2026 Gannon University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Communication and is currently pursuing her master’s in Strategic Communication. As a Senior Account Executive at AK Public Relations, she works across strategy, content, digital marketing, and client relations to help brands communicate with clarity and purpose. With a background spanning marketing, communications, and journalism, she brings a strong understanding of how the right message, delivered in the right way, can strengthen a brand and build lasting connections with its audience. She is passionate about thoughtful storytelling, strong client partnerships, and creating work that makes an impact.
Junior Account Executive
Anna Malinowski
Anna Malinowski is a 2026 graduate of Gannon University with Bachelor’s degrees in both Public Relations and Public Service & Global Affairs. She is the recipient of the Msgr. Wilfred Nash Service Award and the Academic Excellence in Public Relations award. Anna previously worked at Our West Bayfront where she oversaw event planning, and communications strategy for community initiatives and fundraising. She also worked as a Community Outreach Intern at Erie Insurance, supporting various philanthropic efforts. Drawing on experience in both nonprofit and corporate settings, Anna combines strategic communication with compelling storytelling to help organizations build meaningful connections with their audiences.

Junior Account Executive
Katie Palmer
Katelyn Palmer is a senior at Gannon University studying Marketing with minors in Digital Media, Sports Business, and Innovation & Creativity. She has gained experience across marketing, communications, and sports through internships with the Erie Sports Commission, Gannon University’s Marketing Department, American Municipal Power, the Erie Club, and the Erie Otters. Through these roles, Katelyn has developed experience in social media strategy, digital content creation, and website development. Passionate about building strong relationships and creating impactful marketing materials, she combines creativity with strategic thinking to help organizations connect with their audiences and strengthen their digital presence.
